Good morning Familia, well we are just about halfway through the week and I hope most of you, really y’all are doing good.
But knowing the times I also know that not everything is good for many.
Thank God for our Abba, Father who knows what we are going through even if you don’t. He sees the night at the end of the tunnel for each one of us going through this life. Unfortunately many are struggling on their own without any hope at all.
We need to be that light even in our darkest hours.
And for those beleives that are going through tough time reach out to your father in heaven and allow Him to put someone into your heart that will take the time to pray for you and encourage you.
We are not alone, I could not do this without you either, doing what I do here with these devotions encourage me, because you encourage me through them.
Abba, Father we come before you this morning asking you to meet us where we are at, help us, we can not do it on our own.
We try and try and we fall short so often cause we are leaving You out, Please Lord come into our hearts and change us from the inside out, and give us strength to stop the very things we are tired of doing.
Give us Your wisdom to find work and where to look, meet our needs Lord.
Thank you Abba for all those that are healthy and be with all those Father that are sick, comfort them, heal them in the Name of Jesus, Amen!
Abba, Father
And because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying out, “Abba Father!”
Galatians 4:6
I am not a son of God by natural birth, I am a son of God by a new birth, being born again by His Spirit. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out “Abba Father” (Romans 8:14-15).
Abba is the Hebrew word for father, but it is more like our English word daddy. It has an endearing, intimate to it.
We need to believe that God is our Abba, Father.
Some people profess that because God is so awesome, we should not ever say His name. Others, though, get too Chummy, too casual with God. They refer to Him as “The Big Daddy upstairs.”
We need a balance between the two we need to know that God is our Father, that he is our Abba. We need to understand that we can have that kind of beautiful intimacy with Him. But it is also important that we have the deepest reverence and respect for Him, that we never get to a place where we think of Him casually.
May we, as his children, call upon our buck, father and realize the benefits of this glorious inheritance that we have in Jesus Christ, the blessings that are ours by being a child of God.
Father, we thank you for the provision through Jesus, that we who were once foreigners can now be called your children. Thank you, Abba, Father, for the riches that are ours in and through Christ Jesus.
